Race Track

A path is defined by two sparse, loosely parallel arrays of cans; Swan tracks the path. Watch the video, Race Track, 8. The path forms a figure 8 in this demo. Swan stops after making a complete trip. This function was invented by Andrew Harding. See the trajectory.

As the trajectory shows, the targets on both sides are detected in slightly random positions. MotionMind/Swan, however, adopts a smoothing algorithm at a higher level to make the motion stable.

In the second demonstration, a path is formed in a manner similar to the previous one, but the path is globally modified by Daniel. Watch the video, Race Track, Dynamic. This manner of playing with Swan was invented by Daniel Harding. This time Andrew stops Swan using the emergency stop button. See the trajectory.
